Hans Zimmer Live @Copenhagen

I’m really fond of classical music. Somebody would rather believe that, if he/she knew I’m a great fan of Linkin Park. And surprise, since many years ago I’ve been listening to Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky just to mention some of them! I love them as much as I also love movie scores and soundtracks! Music is often inspirational to me, especially while watching movies. I think soundtracks are fundamental in them; well, to be honest, if a like a movie it means that somehow also its soundtrack contributed to enhance my feelings. I love so many movie scores that I may not be able to list all the composers that deserve to be mentioned, but for sure Hans Zimmer, John Williams, James Newton Howard and Howard Shore have a respectable name and they represent the highest representatives of movie soundtrack composition, and that’s why I love them the most.

When in November 2016 I saw that Hans Zimmer would have travelled around Europe for his world tour, I didn’t wait long before I made sure to get a seat for his exhibition in Copenhagen taking place on May 23rd, 2017. I was so excited also because I never saw anything like that before, and I didn’t really know what to expect. It’s been a long waiting but finally that day came: Hans Zimmer and his crew played 10+ different movie scores in Forum arena 😵. The whole experience was so thrilling, and listening to the scores I’ve been addicted to for so many years being played live just made it unique and uncomparable! I’ve listened to soundtracks from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, The Gladiator, The thin red line, Batman, Man of Steel, Pirates of the Caribbean, Interstellar, Inception… woah! It’s been amazing!!! Not to mention how the whole show was supported by a huge set of lights and background videos that contributed to impress the crowd.

It has been worth the price I paid, and I would definitely recommend it to someone!

I had the chance to shoot just a few videos, since I tried to continuously feel the music without being distracted by my phone 😏
